Reception
It is always helpful if guests can telephone us with their ETA so we can make sure we are available to greet and welcome you.
Rooms
Rooms are all on the first floor (unfortunately we do not have a lift, please bear this in mind if you have difficulties with stairs). All the rooms have en suite shower rooms, colour television, FREE WIFI and are all non smoking. (Smoking is permitted to the rear of the property).
Pets
Unfortunately we do not permit pets to stay. This is for the well being of other guests who may have pet allergies.
Groups
There must be at least one person over the age of 18 within the group.
Car parking
We have ample off road parking for up to 8 vehicles and CCTV is in operation 24/7
Garden
The property benefits from having a large grassed areas to the front and rear, guest are allowed to walk around the grounds, or sit on the decking areas, tea, coffee and light bites can be prepared if requested.
Smoking
We operate a non smoking policy inside the B & B so unfortunately if you need to smoke there is plenty of room outside.
Damages and loss
Damages to fixtures or fittings or loss of items belonging to the B & B will be immediately charged to your credit/debit card . We am happy to provide you with an inventory of fixtures and fittings on your arrival.
CANCELLATION POLICY
We require valid credit/debit card details to secure your booking and reserve the right to charge the credit/debit card if your cancellation falls outside the permitted time scales as detailed below.
By giving us your credit/debit card details to secure your booking you agree to the terms and conditions set out, therefore authorising us to make relevant charges to your card without any further consent being required.
If you cancel your booking under 48hrs in advance you will be charged for the first night. If however you cancel your booking giving at least 48hrs notice you will not be charged.
Your reservation is made with us trading as Northumberland Cottage and the terms set out create a legally binding contract between the B & B and yourselves.
We always try to resell cancelled rooms and on the occasion where we are successful in this we refund moneys paid less a small administration charge to rooms cancelled under the required notice.
